Help Pyramid FCU help our community

Once again, Pyramid Federal Credit Union is partnering with KVOA Channel 4 for the Kristi’s Kids Season 4 Hope. This year, Pyramid FCU will be collecting non perishable food items for the Southern Arizona Community Food Bank, new unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots and new clothes for the Gospel Rescue Mission. Donations are being accepted at any of our five locations until December 19th.

Pyramid FCU in the community

The fall season is here and the Pyramid FCU community team will be out in full force in October. We will be at not one or two but three events Saturday, October 27th.

We’ll start the day at the 3rd Annual Tagg Pink Ribbon 7k Run/Walk. This 4.3 Mile run/walk in Vail starts on the track at Cienega High School and ends on the track at Empire High School. The event benefits Cienega High School’s “Cats Hope” Fund and a donation will also be made to the Arizona Cancer Center. The day continues at Rillito Park as we walk in the 2012 Walk to Cure Diabetes sponsored by the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). The JDRF 5K has become one of the largest family-friendly events in Tucson with more than 2,000 participants. The day will finish at the Lighthouse YMCA with the 1st “Discover Your Neighborhood” family event. There will be fun activities for the kids, Halloween festivities, a yard sale and free bike helmets for children. The event runs from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM at the Lighthouse YMCA, located at 2900 N. Columbus Blvd. (Between Grant Rd. and Fort Lowell Rd.)

Take Me Out To The Ballgame!!

On Wednesday, July 18th, Pyramid Federal Credit Union will sponsor a night at the Tucson Padre’s game to benefit KIDCO. KIDCO is an after-school and summer recreation program for children ages 5-11, in kindergarten through fifth grade. KIDCO offers kids a safe and comfortable place where to stay active, develop healthy habits and socialize in a positive and caring environment. A portion of proceeds raised from ticket sales will go directly to this valuable youth program. Come out and enjoy a night at the ballpark and support a good cause at the same time. Tickets are available at the Kino Stadium box office and first pitch is at 7:05 PM.

Merger weekend is fast approaching!

Late last year, we announced Pyramid Federal Credit Union and Tucson TELCO Federal Credit Union were merging to create one institution dedicated to providing members with exceptional service and competitive banking products.  We are happy to say that we will take one of the final steps in finalizing the merger this weekend.

On Friday June 29^th, all Pyramid FCU and Tucson TELCO FCU branches will close at 5:00PM for the weekend.  The closure will allow us to merge both systems into one, giving members of Tucson TELCO FCU access to free online banking, free bill pay and free mobile banking.

During the merger weekend, all credit union services will be off line. This includes E*teller, our 24/7 Audio Response Teller, Shared Branching and our mobile and text banking services. You will be able to use your Visa Debit card during the off line period but daily withdraw limits will be restricted to lower than normal amounts.  All systems will be back online early Monday morning, July 2^nd.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and your family.

Kick off summer right!

It’s that time again! Pyramid Federal Credit Union will be out at Purple Heart Park to celebrate the start of summer at Rita Family Fun Day.  This is our 12th year participating in the free family event that features treats for the whole family from local Tucson businesses. The event starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 1:00 PM with the official opening of the community pool. Be sure to stop by the Pyramid FCU tent to say hello or to take your turn on the Pyramid FCU obstacle course!

Join us for the 2012 NAMI Walk

This Saturday the Pyramid FCU team will be at Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium to participate in the 2012 NAMI walk and fundraiser. The National Alliance of Mental Illness is a grassroots organization that helps improve the lives of the 1 in 4 adults and 1 in 6 children that deal with mental illness.
